Alan Fisher has extensive and proven experience in restoring and enhancing shareholder value. He spent 24 years at world-leading accounting firm Coopers & Lybrand where he headed and grew the Melbourne Corporate Finance Division. Following this tenure Alan developed his own corporate advisory business and in the last 20 years has specialised in M&A, strategic advice, business restructurings and capital raisings. He is also managing director of DMC Corporate and Fisher Corporate Advisory. Alan has previously held the position of CEO of Pental Limited where he was instrumental in its successful restructuring.

Alan holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Melbourne University, is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Alan was appointed as Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Company on 12 November 2015.

Alan is currently a non-executive director and chair of the audit and risk committee of Thorney Technologies Ltd (ASX: TEK), IDT Australia Limited (ASX: IDT) and Bionomics Limited (ASX: BNO).

In addition to his role as Chair of the Centrepoint Board, Alan is a member of the Nomination, Remuneration & Governance Committee.
